They started to learn their skills from him but Mei Chao Feng was forced to destroy her previous skills because they evil and dangerous. Because of this, she lost to some of her previos sect's disciples (which was considered a disgrace to her). She felt extremely bad about it and vowed to practice very hard to reach a higher level of skills... but it seems that no matter how hard she practices, she still couldn't beat Xuan Feng and the rest. She was sitting near a stone table that night (the stone table contained the Jiu Yin Zhen Jing book) and in a moment of impulse, she took the book awayand was caught red handed by Huang Yao Shi. He was furious and ordered her to leave Peach Blossom Island.

Xuan Feng, being a very loving husband, decided to follow her wherever she go, so he left with her... and both of them found a small house to live, hoping to live a normal life. but fate doen't allow them to do so. Soon after Ou Yang Feng came and threatened to kill Chao Feng if they don't hand over the Ju Yin book. Being a poison king, he poisoned her and capitalised on the weakness of Xuan Feng.

Being loyal disciples, they decided not to return to the island and die together. However, as Chao Feng's condition got worse and worse, Xuan Feng had to return to Peach Blossom to try to get the book. When he returned, he was stoped by Ling Feng and the rest... Out of pity for the couple, Ling Feng handed Xuan Feng the book and they answered to Huang for the lost book by stabbing their legs, crippling them for the rest of their lives. They knew they did a grave mistake so after crippling their legs, they left Peach Blossom island.

Ou Yang Feng did not keep his promise though, he not only took the book but poisoned Chao Feng again so that she'll suffer slowly before her death, making it more miserable for her. She and Xuan Feng can only blame heaven for playing a game with them. They decided to live and die together....

Fan's Review

I have this feeling of " blueness " whenever i watch this show, dunno why but every scene seems so blue & dark in colour, Chilam wears blue as seen in the pics while Guan Bao Hui usually wears black. Their characters actually have a very bitter life, having to leave Peach Blossom Island because Mei Chaofeng tried to have a glimpse at the book " Jiu Yin Zhen Jing ". Even after they tried to live a normal life, Ou Yang Feng wouldn't let them go, he poisoned Mei Chaofeng & demanded that Chilam get the book for him in exchange for the antidote but Chilam didn't want to betray his teacher ( Huang Yaoshi's disciples are all very loyal to him ). In the end, for her sake, he went back to Peach Blossom Island to try to get the book, but was stopped by his ex-fellow disciples. This is the most touching part of all, coz Chilam was forced on the ground by his ex-fellow disciples, and he kneeled down and told Qu Ling Feng (his oldest fellow disciple) to kill him... but at this moment Mei Chao Feng ran in, kneeled down facing Chilam and said that if he dies, then they die together.... then they hugged each other and started crying their hearts out...... Their ex-fellow disciples were touched and pitied the couple so they decided to let Chilam have the book..... I think when anyone watch this part, we'll definitely feel like crying too coz it's simply sooo touching!! In the end, to answer to Huang Yao Shi for giving the book away.that, they crippled their legs and left the island...
